PFSTrack

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

The short version: PFSTrack doesn't require an account and doesn't store your health information on PFSTrack servers. Everything you enter stays on your device, under your control, unless you choose to back it up, export it, or share it yourself.

What information PFSTrack handles

PFSTrack lets you record information about flares, episodes, symptoms, medications, and lab results. If you choose to connect Apple Health, PFSTrack can also read body-temperature readings stored there, including readings from compatible smart thermometers.

This information is used to create entries, charts, trends, summaries, and exports within PFSTrack.

How your data is stored

All health data you enter or import is stored locally on your device using standard iOS on-device storage.

PFSTrack does not maintain a server or cloud database containing your health information, and no account or sign-in is required to use the app. We do not receive or have access to the health information stored in PFSTrack.

Your health information leaves the app only when you choose to export, back up, or share it.

Apple Health data

If you enable Apple Health import, PFSTrack reads body-temperature data from the Health app on your device with your permission, granted through Apple's standard Health access prompt.

This data is used only to import temperature readings into PFSTrack and incorporate them into your flare history and charts.

PFSTrack does not use Apple Health data for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell or share Apple Health data with third parties.

You can review or revoke PFSTrack's access to Health data at any time through your device's privacy settings.

Backups and exports

Because your PFSTrack health history is stored locally on your device, PFSTrack includes a Backup feature that lets you create a copy of your data.

You choose where to save or send that backup — for example, to the Files app or another location available through the iOS sharing interface.

PFSTrack does not receive or have access to backup or export files you create. Once you save or share a file outside PFSTrack, its storage and security are controlled by the service or location you choose.

Deleting your data

Deleting PFSTrack from your device removes the data stored locally within the app.

Any backup, PDF, CSV, or other file that you previously exported or saved outside PFSTrack is separate from the app and will remain wherever you chose to store it until you delete it there.

Because PFSTrack does not maintain a server containing your health history, there is no copy of that health data for us to delete.

Children's health information

PFSTrack is designed to be used by a parent, caregiver, or adult patient to track health information. It is not directed at children and is not intended for children to use independently.

The adult using PFSTrack is responsible for information entered about themselves or a child in their care.

Website analytics

The PFSTrack website uses Umami Analytics to help us understand how people find and use the site. Umami provides privacy-focused website analytics without using cookies or collecting personally identifiable information.

We use anonymous website statistics, such as page views, referring websites, browser and device type, operating system, and general geographic information, only to understand website traffic and improve the site. We do not use website analytics for advertising.

Website analytics are separate from the PFSTrack app. Umami does not have access to any health information stored in PFSTrack.
